So when the Olympics came through several years ago, there was a huge increase of foot traffic near my house. My friend Tiffany actually had her house broken into by some opportunistic thieves. Due to the increase in the amount of people around her house, she was not able to notice that these men had been scouting her house out for days . They had kept a detailed schedule of her daily routine, noting when she left and how long she was gone. When the time was right, they struck. The cleaned her out. They took jewelry, cash, laptop computers, an iPad and several other valuable sentimental items. They only took items that were small enough to fit in a duffel bag. They did all of this in less than 10 minutes. When Tiffany got back to her house she was astounded to find the mayhem that they had left. After hearing her story and the devastation it caused, I decided is was finally time to get a home security Salt Lake City system. I now feel better protected from something like this happening to me.

Birth announcements

Our family was fortunate to welcome the arrival of its sixth member in December. In the months since our daughter’s birth, there have been both joy and challenges. It is certainly difficult to supervise three small children while caring for a newborn. Fortunately, my husband was able to take a 1 month leave and help around the house when she turned on month old. Since that time, things have slowly improved.
One of the things that I thought about in connection with our baby’s arrival was whether to send birth announcements . Although we never sent them in the past, somehow I thought it might be appropriate this time in light of the fact that we expect that this was our last child. Also, over the past couple of years we have expanded our network of friends, family and former colleagues with whom we maintain contact. Some of those people live far away and we do not speak with them very often. Thus, a formal announcement seems more appropriate as it would ensure that we formally spread the news to everyone who we care about.
Now that our daughter is three months old, I am not sure whether it would be proper etiquette to send announcements now. However, I still think it would be a good idea. Perhaps I will do a little research to determine whether we can still send out announcements.

Your hobby your profession.

I am looking at my old pictures back when I was in the Philippines. Now I realize that swimming is very good exercise. Because when I was in the Philippines my hobby is swimming and I did not intend any exchange on my swimming hobbit back then.
At this picture I have one daughter and nobody believed that I have a baby at this pictures. And now I am trying to get it back on this size even not so exactly the same but similar on this size.
I already start exercising two days ago so hopefully I can see the result two weeks from now.
I know it’s hard to get rid of it the stubborn fat of your Bally. But I think if you really try hard and make it one of your priorities I think nothing is possible you know. But anyhow I will update you guys for the result of my exercise in two weeks. Right now I am 135 pounds so we will see how many pound I can lose in two weeks.

Life in the Middle East

My grandfather cousin just died one week ago and she have only one daughter and that daughter is in the Middle East right now. I never see her in personal since she went abroad when I was a kid and when she visited her mama back in 2006 I was in Manila. So I never had a chance to know this person until now. I just added her in facebook few days ago. And she was very upset because she did not have a chance to see the dead body of her Mama.
It’s really hard if you are far from your family because if something happen to your love once you cannot really decide of what to do especially if you don’t have money to go back home.
This cousin of my grandfather invited all of her grandchildren relatives last Christmas and she was so happy to see them all except us and the rest who are far away from home.

Easter Gifts

It is wild to think that another year has begun and yet another winter season will soon draw to a close. The Easter holiday is right around the corner. Although in the past, I do not think we have really done anything with the kids for Easter, this year we may go ahead and give Easter Baskets. I suppose that it is about time that we sat down with our kids and told them about Easter. I suspect that giving them Easter Gift Baskets will help them to remember whatever we tell them about the holiday and its history.
I am a little reluctant to present our kids with Easter Gifts. However, I rationalize that our doing so might help them to remember the significance of the day and why it is important. Maybe we will also see if they can participate in an Easter egg hunt this year. I recall that when I was a kid, I didn’t really care to eat the eggs, but I really enjoyed looking for them.

One of our family friends is from the United Kingdom. He recently married a Thai school teacher and is planning to sell his house and move permanently to Thailand. I do not envy his need to research removal companies . I suspect that most will not offer international shipping. And even for those that can safely ship his belongings to Thailand, I imagine that the price may be prohibitive. If I were in his shoes, I might first try to limit the amount of things that need to be moved. For example, he might just do a thorough inventory of his home. Then he can make an item by item decision as to what he really needs and wants with him in Thailand. Then, to the extent that he identifies things that he does not want or need , but that still remain in good condition, he could have a yard sale, sell the items on Ebay or donate them to charity.
I suppose that the first step will be to collect some quotes to get a sense of the potential magnitude of the costs. The amounts quoted may then have an impact on your willingness to part with certain marginally valuable items. That is, if you like something enough and the marginal additional shipping costs is low, then maybe you keep the item rather than throwing it out or trying to sell it.

Pinoy Citizen

This is what most Pilipino said we are proud to be pinoy. But why most Pilipino who came here in the United States wants to be American citizen. Is that what they called proud? I don’t think so! If you are proud that you are Pilipino you should never change your citizenship. Because if you change your citizenship it means that you are not proud that you are Pilipino that what I think to myself you knows.
But I also understand why they want to be an American Citizen it’s because they can have same opportunity us an American people. So even against to their heart they will accept the offer to become a U.S Citizen.
But not! Even they are holding American passport they still know that they are Pilipino nothing change but the passport.

Still under construction house for my Father.

Is now 10:15 evening everybody is in bed except me again just like last night. Yeah last night I slept late. But since I slept this afternoon is not a big deal for me plush tomorrow is no class so I am good. This is a long weekend for American people. Well tomorrow is a president day and I am sure there is something going on down town D.C. But since I have small children I rather stay at home.
This afternoon my friend in Arlington Virginia told me that there are sale going on in Macy’s and if I like to shop she have some extra coupon. But perhaps I told her don’t I don’t have budget for shopping at this point.
I would love to go shopping perhaps we have so many bills to pay off. If I have extra money I rather keep it for my father house. It’s almost a year now since I started to hire somebody to build the house for my father. But until now still under construction. My sister keeps asking me when I’m going to finish the house that I build for my father. Since I have no idea when I just said to her I don’t know time well say when.
